Limex Broadcast Systems, the international department of Lime TV Holding, launched a streaming OTT TV service in Brazil.
The service includes 50 Brazilian channels, available for free on Android and iOS mobile devices, as well as through the official website.
Brazil is the largest country in Latin America, with a population of more than 200 million people and about 75% Internet penetration, where people traditionally enjoy watching TV and there is a high competition of OTT services, both global, such as Netflix, Pluto, Hulu, Amazon, Disney, etc., and local: Globoplay, CanalOnline Brasil, Canais Globo, etc.
Djimily Vladimir Dantas Ferreira, Brazilian TV Channels Relations Manager:
"As a native Portuguese speaker, I am very pleased to participate in the project as I communicate in my native language during the work. It's a challenging and interesting job at the same time. I did a lot of negotiating with content rights holders, and I was also involved in the concept of the visual design of the app, which took a lot of time and effort. In the end we came to the conclusion that the design of the service should reflect the specifications of the cultural life of the country - Brazilian Carnival. In my opinion, we have a quality product and I will be glad if Brazilian users have the same opinion after getting acquainted with the service.
The new service features a user-friendly interface, high speed, and easy access without authorization or registration.
Limex Broadcast Systems continues to actively develop the service, increasing the number of TV channels and expanding the functionality, aiming on the feedback of application users.
